WS2812-Through-hole-5mm

This is a through hole version of the WS2812 that is widely used as a programmable addressable LED. This LED supports serial addressable integrated system where multiple leds can be connected via a string and each individual LEDs can be controlled independently.

This LED requires 5V to operate and could produce RGB led colors. Thus this LED is an excellent LED to produce all colors as well as can be controlled independently.

Through hole version of WS2812 is also having another part number APA106-F5.

Multiple WS2812-Through-Hole/APA106-F5 connection

The L1/L2/L3 are LEDs. 5V voltage and GND is provided in each LEDs. The microcontroller sends data to the DI (Data In) pin and the data gets transferred to the next LED via DO (Data Out) pin, serially.
