The SR04M Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor Module (AJ-SR04M / JSN-SR04T type) is a rugged distance measuring sensor designed for outdoor and harsh environments. Unlike standard ultrasonic sensors, it features a sealed waterproof probe connected to a driver circuit, making it ideal for applications like water level detection and industrial automation.

This module uses ultrasonic waves (~40kHz) to measure distance without physical contact, ensuring reliable performance even in dusty or wet conditions. It operates similarly to the HC-SR04 using trigger and echo signals, making it easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
