This is 5mm through hole version of the DIP LED. It has two lead semiconductor light source. Its 3.1Vlts emits light when LED is activated. It emits White color bright flash even in low voltage. This White led is long lasting. The color of the White LED  is determined by the energy band gap of the semiconductor.
